Anjuna and Vagator are two beach villages a few kilometers apart on North Goa's coast, both rooted in Goa's 1960s hippie era. Goa introduced a 10pm curfew on outdoor amplified music in 2023, but enforcement is inconsistent, and Anjuna in particular is still considered a center of Goa's trance scene — expect some noise from beach shacks and clifftop bars after dark, especially in peak season.
