Charlottenburg is Berlin's old West End — a formerly divided-city downtown built around the grand Kurfürstendamm boulevard, high-end shopping, and the baroque Charlottenburg Palace. It's a more traditional, upscale counterpart to Mitte's history and Kreuzberg's edge.

Polished and residential — wide 19th-century boulevards, quiet side streets, and an older, more established crowd than Berlin's eastern neighborhoods.

Transportation & practical information
