Lake Buena Vista is the small, mostly-Disney-owned city that surrounds Disney Springs, Walt Disney World's free-to-enter shopping, dining, and entertainment district. A cluster of independently-owned hotels sits along Hotel Plaza Boulevard, a short walk or shuttle ride from Disney Springs itself, offering the easiest access to the four Disney parks without booking a Disney-operated resort.

Transportation & practical information

Free shuttle buses connect these hotels to all four Disney theme parks. Disney Springs is walkable or a short shuttle ride away. A car or rideshare is the easiest way to reach Universal Orlando or International Drive.

A car (or consistent rideshare budget) makes Orlando much easier — International Drive, Lake Buena Vista, and Universal are 15-40 minutes apart by road, and public transit doesn't meaningfully connect them. If you're only doing one park cluster and its on-site or adjacent hotels, you can get by on shuttles and rideshare alone.
