Blaak station (metro and train) sits right next to the Markthal and Cube Houses, and Beurs, Rotterdam's main metro and tram interchange, is a few minutes' walk away. Rotterdam Centraal is one or two stops further, easily reached by metro or tram.

Skip a rental car if you're staying centrally. Rotterdam Centraal, the metro, and trams cover the city well, parking downtown is metered and limited, and a car adds nothing for the compact stretch between Centrum and Kop van Zuid. It's worth considering only for a day trip to Kinderdijk's windmills or the Delta Works.
