Marina Vallarta is a planned marina development north of the airport, built around a boardwalk that loops roughly 1.5 kilometers past docked yachts and sailboats, restaurants, and galleries, anchored by the El Faro lighthouse. Most of the area's hotels sit along the beach on the bay side, backing onto an 18-hole golf course.

Quiet and manicured — a flat, walkable loop around the marina with waterfront dining, rather than the dense street life of Zona Romántica or El Centro.
