Where to Stay in Silom, Bangkok

Silom Road is Bangkok's traditional financial district by day and home to the Patpong night market after dark. Sathorn, the road running parallel to it, is calmer and leafier, lined with embassies, international banks, and several of the city's 5-star hotels. Both sit on the BTS Silom Line and are a short ride from Lumphini Park and the river.
