Where to Stay in Playacar, Playa del Carmen

Playacar is a gated resort and residential community immediately south of downtown Playa del Carmen, split into a smaller, quieter Fase I nearer the beach and a larger Fase II built around a golf course, with most of the all-inclusive resorts concentrated along the Fase II coastline. Streets are private and low-traffic, with landscaped grounds and, in Fase II, a paved path that loops the interior.
